The Maharashtra body was voted at 2,869 seats of 893 wards of the 29 municipal bodies of BMC Results Live State.

29 body bodies across Maharashtra (Civic Bodies) continue to count votes for elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on the forefront of the Indian Janata Party (BJP) in the Jupiter Metropolitan Palika (BMC) in Mumbai.

Top 10 Key Points on Maharashtra Body Election Results:

According to the early trends, the BJP-led coalition in BMC (BMC) is further in 49 wards. BJP has an edge in 36 wards while Shivasena of Anath Shinde 13 Forward in the wards.

The Thackeray cousins (Advance and Raj) are running behind in an attempt to maintain their control over the country’s richest metropolis and have an edge in the total of 31 wards. The Army of the Uddhav Thackeray is on 28 seats, while the Maharashtra Navscaping Army (MNS) of Raj Thackeray is edged in 3 wards.

1,700 candidates were in the field for 227 seats in BMC, whose annual budget exceeds Rs 74,400 crore. These elections were held nine years later and four years late.

In the previous elections in 2017, Joint Shivasena (including Eknath Shinde) had retained his hold on BMC, which he was controlling for decades.

The total figures of 29 municipal corporations across Maharashtra are also visible in the side of the BJP. According to the total figure, the BJP is ahead of the 297 wards, while Shinde-led colleague Shivsena is moving in 73 wards.

The Congress is ranked third in the party-wise figures and has scored an edge at 57 seats, with a large part coming from Nagpur, Kolhapur and Akola. Shivasena (UBT) is ranked fourth with an edge at 44 seats, followed by the NCP of Ajit Pawar (37).

In addition to Mumbai, Pune also has its sights as two rival factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) – Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar and his uncle and Rajya Sabha MP Sharad Pawar – has aligned these municipal elections.

BJP is moving faster here. The Bhagwa Party in Pune is moving forward at 39 seats, while the Joint NCP Gut is running behind with an edge over 16 seats (NCP 14, NCP-SP 2).
